BUSINESS ANALYST - PIPER PROJECT Job Description: As a BA, the primary responsibility is handling the analysis, documentation, and support needs of the Securitized Products Finance Business. The candidate should be able to thoroughly grasp the end-to-end application functioning, business flows, processes and become fully conversant with all tools to provide effective end-to-end solutions. Knowledge of investment banking especially experience in Front Office Portfolio Management applications would be a huge plus. Specific tasks for this role include, but are not limited to: • Analyze, document and design solutions based on iterative conversations with business users. • Familiarize with the applications, tools, feeds, databases, and batch files that are being supported by the team. • Document, troubleshoot and isolate problems encountered in Production and come up with long term solutions. The candidate is expected to be a qualified BA/ PM of the highest caliber, capable of independently extracting requirements, breaking down into development tasks, and tracking delivery. Required Skills/Experience: • 10+ years in the software industry • Familiarity with Agile methodology
Expertise in Story documentation
Expert Working knowledge of Wireframing
Good Database skills with any RDBMS systems (primarily SQL Server) • Experience in development a plus
Experience with messaging technologies is a plus. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Must be a self-starter and be able to work well in fast paced, dynamic environment. • Highly analytical, proactive and detail oriented. • Must be able to work effectively with clients and team members in other locations
