Wells Fargo Technology plays a critical role in the company's customer and employee experience, business and risk management transformation, and growth agenda.Product Owner - API Service ManagementThe Enterprise API Management program is responsible for delivery of four technology products: Service Marketplace, API Gateway, API Lifecycle Manager, and API Developer Frameworks and Libraries. Each product requires one or more product analysts to create, document, evangelize, and groom user stories, as well as communicate product direction with Scrum team members. The product analyst must strive to accurately understand customer needs, then be able to translate and prioritize those for the engineering team.This role presents an excellent opportunity to guide the future of the Wells Fargo API strategy - the future of integration with the firm - which will accelerate customer value realization and engineering efficiency.Further, the Product Owner - API Service Management will contribute to the API Management product management deliverables as follows:Defining the product model and strategy for enterprise API management, which must incorporate: EA standards, discovery requirements, instrumentation and metrics availability, persona-based product requirements to support API producers and consumers, costing models for monetizing APIs and cost recovery, as well as lifecycle governance and prioritization for APIs from ideation through deployment.

Service Management Model implementation and governance strategy and roadmap – partner with the core API and CIO delivery teams define and deliver against the Organizational Key Results and Key Performance Indicators necessary for an excellent service delivery team.

Evangelizing the API management strategy – drive adoption and adherence to API standards, lead community outreach and education on federated API development, create a network of senior CIO partners to drive consistent adoption within development communities

Define and operationalize engagement models – design engagement models and workflow across Agile Transformation, Enterprise Architecture's Domain Driven Design services, CIO teams, and Enterprise API Management core workstreams.

Define the strategic API vendor and custom-built product composition – leverage industry-wide best practices to incorporate new or updated toolsets into the API management functional space.

Define and manage customer support processes – customer support for API partners using the Marketplace, Lifecycle Manager, and runtime API gateway

Provide Metrics and Reporting for compliance and management teams – develop and implement the inventory of services, performance metrics, and economic accountability for API constituents.

This product analyst will further participate in the model for APIs for the enterprise and partner with CTO organizations, such as Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Engineering, and Deployment Engineering to enable a standards-based, modern API strategy consistent with technology strategy, but also evolving with industry best practices and risk management.Required Qualifications7+ years of leadership experience

1+ year of Agile experience

7+ years of experience developing or supporting IT Service Management solutions (e.g. Incident Management, Change Management, Asset Management and Configuration Management)

7+ years of experience in business systems analysis or design as demonstrated through work, military, or education

Desired QualificationsMiddleware experience

Experience delivering Business Intelligence (BI), analytics and reporting using API Services architecture

Knowledge and understanding of operation work flows/processes

Deep Knowledge and understanding of governance and compliance expected from providing solutions in systems and technology domains
