This is an opportunity to participate in the development and leadership of the kitchen at Market and Moss. We’re a relatively small crew pushing big, bright ideas and we focus on seasonal cooking, vibrancy, creativity, and working with local farmers and purveyors. Our cuisine comes together with warm service, thoughtful ambiance, and a positive culture to create an atmosphere of true hospitality.

This is ideally a full-time position and salary is dependent on applicant. Health insurance reimbursement offered for full-time employees. Sundays and Mondays we are closed and you will almost always have off. You will work less than 50 hours per week.

Applicants should be positive, motivated, have experience in commercial kitchens, and be hungry to grow and have purpose in their work.

Attitude is critical we believe that hospitality starts with how we treat each other as coworkers. You should collaborate with and motivate those around you, while treating them with care and respect.

Jr. Sous will participate in menu and feature development with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef and will help oversee consistency. You will help provide thorough training to kitchen staff and constantly hold staff and yourself to high standards.

This is a position with a lot of growth opportunity, and we are seeking applicants with at least 2 years experience as a professional cook.
