This position will serve as a Stock Clerk at the Fountain Dining Hall on the campus of NC State University.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Receiving all stock for Dining unit

-Rotating stock appropriately

-Training temporary and student stock room staff

-Working closely with Chef and General Manager to ensure appropriate product and amounts are pulled in a timely manner

-Ordering all chemical, paper, and beverage products for Dining unit

-Effectively managing C-Bord functions including inventory, invoice receiving, ordering, and issuing paperwork

-Maintain “food service rewards” program by entering data so credits can be issued

-Tracking product shortages, damages, and mispicks; communicate them to Assistant Director to ensure that proper credits are received

-Maintain high standards for the stockroom

The department employs approximately 1000 temporary and student employees and approximately 150 permanent EHRA and SHRA employees.
