Position oversees three kitchens in the Triangle that provide catered meals for child care centers. Responsible for overall service and customer satisfaction. Directly supervises kitchen supervisors and serves as replacement for all kitchen positions as needed. Experience in high volume cooking a plus. Plan monthly scratch-made menus featuring seasonal and local ingredients.
Develop and maintain budgets. Good computer skills including email, Word and Excel. Participate in local, regional and statewide food and nutrition efforts, program expansion and interdepartmental collaborations.
Employment will require passing a criminal background check and full Covid-19 vaccination status.
