Seeking Students to Become CNA's (NA1s)
The Nurse Aide (NA1) Training program, a 12-week program that leads to NA1 certification, with special emphasis on care of older adults, particularly those with dementia. Guiding Lights offers this program through its Guiding Lights Caregiver Training Institute, which as a licensed Proprietary School will soon expand its offerings. There is a $25 application fee. Scholarships available for all students that AGREE to work for agencies in exchange for sponsoring their schooling.

We offer low teacher to student ratios and clinical rotations at Springmoor.
The classroom portion of the program is held Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm.
The 40-hour clinical rotation is held during the fifth week of class, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 5:30 pm- 9:30 pm.
We have agreements with local home care agencies (Homewatch CareGivers, Right at Home, and Visiting Angels) to hire you as a way to work off the cost of your tuition (each agency has a different model for payment).
You must also qualify for employment at these agencies so you will go through a 2 step interview process. One with us and one with the home care organization. You must be willing to work for one of these agencies in order to not have to pay our school directly otherwise we do accept payment directly from you to take our course.
We also offer this course to students willing to pay the fee privately. The cost of tuition must be paid by the start of the class.
