The Medical Assistant performs patient oriented procedures using best practices under the supervision of the Clinical Manager. Assists the Clinical team in setting up for procedures and exams, scheduling appointments and procedures as required, managing patient documentation and other clinical duties as assigned in an efficient manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have Medical Assistant Certification and/or eligible to sit for Certification with a minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience in a clinic environment. Experience in a large, high volume practice environment is a plus. Ability to communicate effectively and clearly both written and orally. Must be detail oriented, able to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization as well as with patients, have knowledge of medical terminology and able to travel between site locations as required.
