Our client, one of the fastest growing, aviation and aerospace companies in the country, is actively recruiting for a sharp Payroll Specialist to assume key role on its team.
Key Things to Note:
⢠Payroll involves salaried employees and independent contractors. Experience preparing and filing Form 1099 MISC will be essential.
⢠The company uses ADP WorkForce Now and related knowledge would be valuable.
⢠This company has employees throughout the US and abroad. Strong communication skills and ability to work well with employees around the world will be important.
⢠In addition to maintaining the payroll database and running routine payroll transactions, this Payroll Specialist will be responsible for miscellaneous accounting tasks including processing expense reimbursements. Seek candidate familiar with the process and SAP Concur Travel Management System.
Selected duties will include:
⢠Compiling payroll data for bi-weekly payroll submission to ADP
⢠Reconciling general ledger to payroll transactions on a monthly basis
⢠Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns
⢠Assisting HR with processing paperwork for new hires, terminations, and employee changes
Targeted candidate will offer 3+ years of directly-related experience in similar Payroll functions, including filing of Form 1099 MISC. Other priorities include:
⢠ADP WorkForce Now (or similar)
⢠keen attention to detail
⢠collaborative work style
⢠excellent organizational skills
⢠longevity in previous roles
