Senior Software Development Engineer in Test $90-130K DOE Please note that candidates must be in the North Carolina area or be prepared to relocate within 4 weeks of acceptance
We currently have an opening within our clients development team to join as a Software Engineer in Test Automation. The client are in a significant period of growth and have added a number of people to the engineering team in the last 4 months. As a Software Development Engineer in Test you will be instrumental in the building of the company's product. You will be heavily involved within Big Data, Machine Learning and Data Science teams.
Software Development Engineer in Test Responsibilities:
Design, develop, execute, and extend test automation
Mentor and support the evolution of expert code/testing developed by other QA engineers
Lead SQA team through Test-driven development process
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Software Development Engineer in Test Requirements:
Comp Sci/Eng/Math/Physics educational background. We need the candidate to have strong comp sci fundamentals.
OOP experience preferably C# but any other OOP is fine as well.
Extensive experience building Page Object Models for complex web and desktop UIs
Strong experience in Testing Web, API and Mobile applications
Strong experience in automation and using latest open source/vendor automation frameworks such as Selenium
Experienced in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
Excellent communication skills
Nice To Have
Knowledge of Jenkins
Exposure to CI/CD
Exposure on public cloud offerings AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform
