IXL Learning, a leading edtech company with products used by 11 million students worldwide, is seeking an Technical Integration Specialist to join our growing team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal individual should possess a passion for delivering world class customer service and a desire to apply their analytical and technical abilities. This role will facilitate the implementation and support of IXL’s roster, learning management system, and single-sign-on integrations. This role requires someone comfortable supporting a wide range of personas as our customers are educational staff with varying levels of technical understanding.

In this role, you will use your communication and technical skills to effectively onboard and maintain student and teacher accounts and rosters with our large school and district-wide accounts, while fortifying customer relationships. You will work closely with Renewal, New Business and PLS teams to provide excellent customer service throughout the customer life cycle.

We are looking for a versatile and driven professional. This position requires excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills as you’ll be working closely with engineering, product management, account management, support, and sales teams.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGImplementing roster, learning management system, and single-sign-on integrations using established tools and procedures

Diagnosing and resolving daily integration issues using internal tools and analytical thinking

Serving as the main point of contact for internal teams relating to integration usage, support, and implementation

Identifying, analyzing, and reporting integration-related bugs and enhancements to engineering and product management

Planning, organizing, and documenting the daily tasks needed to maintain multiple implementation and support tasks

Providing intradepartmental support for new integrations and new integration enhancements

Championing the use of IXL’s integrations and subsequent benefits to both internal and external clients

Completing all assigned duties with limited supervision and an understanding of when to properly escalate cross-departmentally or to management

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORBA/BS degree required

1-2 years in a customer-facing web application / technical support role

A basic understanding of web services (API, JSON, XML)

Fundamental knowledge as it relates to SFTP and SSO technologies

Familiarity with relational databases and queries

Demonstrates a strong work ethic and personal integrity

Demonstrates an authentic Client First service mentality

Works well in a team environment and interacts well with all levels of the organization

Takes initiative for self-development and exhibits patience in learning new processes

Demonstrates excellent written, oral and listening communication skills

Exceptional ability to think analytically to identify issues as well as solutions to technical problems

Passion to help other people, and see our clients succeed

Experience with technologies used in K-12 education (Student Information Systems, Learning Management Systems and Active Directory) is a plus

Experience with Salesforce is a plus
