Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Service Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment, including farm machinery, industrial equipment, and vehicle fleets. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with automotive diagnostics, and proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Duties:
Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, and HVAC systems.
Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, and brake repairs to ensure equipment reliability.
Fabricate and modify parts using welding, soldering, and assembly techniques to meet specific repair needs.
Operate and troubleshoot heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and other industrial machinery.
Interpret schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
Conduct alignments and shocks & struts replacements to maintain vehicle safety standards.
Assist with the repair and maintenance of farm machinery and power tools as needed.
Ensure all repairs meet safety regulations and quality standards through meticulous inspection and testing.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic Service Technician or similar role within a dealership or heavy equipment environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in diesel engine repair, vehicle maintenance, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
Experience with automotive diagnostics tools, schematics interpretation, welding, soldering, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $22.00 - $38.00 per hour, depending on experience
