SUE Field Technician
Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of Sub-Surface Utility Engineering (SUE) and Electromagnetic (EM) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) equipment. Experience with EM and GPR, would be preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of a High School Degree.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicate with project team members, client representatives, review agencies and others as appropriate to the project.
Perform Sub-Surface Utility Engineering services for both internal and external clients
Maintains the Overall quality (accuracy, thoroughness, meets regulatory requirements, public relations) of work, safety, and maintenance of equipment
Operating equipment, maintaining safe work environment, protecting and maintaining the equipment and vehicles
Accurately and efficiently collecting field data and locating features
Manage time effectively, organize, and work on multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet project deadlines and client needs

Qualifications:
Minimal experience with SUE utility designating equipment
Minimal experience with Vacuum Excavation
General knowledge of utility infrastructures
Client focused relationship skills
Valid drivers license
Process oriented, analytical, well spoken, and good at problem solving
Good technical skills
Working Conditions:
This job requires a person to be able to stand/walk for long periods of time. Be exposed to uneven terrain and all types of weather conditions being outside the majority of the work day. Good sense of direction.
Physical Requirements:
Incumbent is required to stand for extended periods of time, and have the ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
