Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Skype for Business Support Analystfor a CONTRACTassignment with one of our premier Financialclients in Morrisville, NC.

Responsibilities :
The primary responsibility for this role is to provide voice solution with either skype for business or any other SaaS Voice provider, The role create/Manages Call Routing, Dial Plans, Voice gateway interface, DID Management and Voice Policies . The Role is also responsible for triaging and resolving critical production issues, interacting with other infrastructure support teams, monitoring and performance tuning of the environment, developing advanced skills in Voice and Video integration.
The Role will be a part of a dynamic team responsible for operational support of Skype for Business 2015/2019 implementation with Enterprise Voice capabilities. The team is responsible for maintaining stability, resolving user escalations. Managing and resolving incidents. Maintaining the infrastructure with regular maintenance. Taking part on L2 rotational support.

Required Skills:
BS or MS in Computer Science or Information Systems3 to 5 years' experience supporting or deploying Microsoft Communications Solutions ( Lync, Skype for Business) in an enterprise environment (10,000+ users)Preferred certifications MCSE: Communications
1) Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting Skype for Business 2015/2019 including supportingfollowing functions:
a) Core Skype functionality on desktop and mobile clients
b) Integration with Microsoft and custom applications
c) Functionality requiring Edge infrastructure (Browser clients, Federation)
2) Experience in three or more of the following administrative tasks for Skype for Business 2015/2019
a) User and access management and/or configuring security in Skype environment
b) Managing backup and restore of environments, and testing and supporting Disaster Recovery
c) Analyzing and troubleshooting user experience and service quality for Collaboration, Video, and Voice features
d) Using third party tools for monitoring and administering Skype environments for incidents and capacity management

Other required technical skills include:
1) Understanding of Voice and VoIP technologies (SBC, PBX, SIP, etc.)
2) Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, Routing, Load Balancing, Quality of Service, and other core network technologies
3) Knowledge of Firewalls, Proxies, Network Segmentation, Application Security Management (ASM), and other core security services
4) Strong experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages
5) Knowledge of Windows Server administration and support
6) Experience with ITILv3 or delivering services in an ITIL environment
7) Ability to identify and anticipate potential systems issues, and provide appropriate solutions in a timely fashion
8) Experience with Enterprise Voice and Call Management features in Lync (voice routing, call management, E911, and SIP trunking)
9) Experience with ethical boundaries tools (e.g., Vantage Actiance) .
