Position Details: Industry: Bio Tech Job Title: Lead Automation Control Engineer Duration: 3-Months with possibility of extension Location: Sanford, North Carolina (Must be on-site M-F) Day-to-Day:
Supporting the Site Automation Specialist to perform actions to satisfy business requirements.
Participate in the deployment, integration and maintenance of control systems communicating to programmable logic controllers.
GMP verification protocol generation, execution, and the development of standard operating procedures and programming guidelines.
Execute established verification programs and complete rigorous verification documentation to include commissioning and verification protocol generation and execution.
Interfacing with IT (Business Technology) for coordination and integration.
Biotech/Pharma background with a solid understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) and GAMP (Good Automated Manufacturing Processes)
Atleast 5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s or Masters in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control System or Applied Computer discipline, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, BioInformatics (or related discipline) OR 10+ years of equivalent experience with Certification in Instrumentation/ Control Systems administration and programming.
Data Historians – preferred PI Historian
Experience/familiarity with the following Industrial control system technologies: OPC, Profibus DP, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet, DeviceNet, etc.
