FULL-TIME

$23.80/hr, plus $1000 new hire bonus, see details below

This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by insuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position is also responsible for the operation and maintenance of the refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Duties include:

- Coordinate PM schedule with Maintenance Planner for the refrigeration department.

- Assist in maintaining the PSM program for the facility.

- Performing repairs on various equipment within the facility both production and non-production related.

- Troubleshooting and repairing equipment breakdowns

- Completing assigned work orders and document in the SAP maintenance system

- Conducting preventive maintenance inspections as assigned

- Be able to be lock out/tag out certified, confined space certified, fall protection certified, and forklift certified

- Be able to weld, and fabricate as needed

- Monitor the ammonia system to ensure proper functioning

- Must be part of the HAZMAT team and be able to pass the Respirator Level 4 physical on an annual basis

- Must be able to complete Level 1 Operator training

- Must currently hold an L4 or higher position.

Schedule

Shift start: 6:00AM
Shift length: 12 hours
Monday-Friday, some weekends and evenings required Monday-Thursday with overtime on Fridays/Saturdays 5 days/week, must be available any day Sunday-Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday Based on route

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen
• Can lift 50 lbs
• Must be at least 18+ years old

At least 1 year of refrigeration maintenance work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial refrigeration training program. (can be a combination of employers as long as the experience is at least 1 year)

Must have a minimum 1 year PSM experience with single employer

Must have 6 months work exp in the last 12 months, (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months)

$1000 new hire incentive

This bonus will be paid out in two separate installments after 90 days and 180 days.
