We are seeking a part-time accountant / office manager (controller) for a well-established small business in Wilmington. This individual needs to have a very strong accounting background, and advanced QuickBooks Online proficiency. A CPA is preferred. The position involves operational accounting, payroll, tax, reporting, monthly and annual reconciliations, A/P, A/R, and HR. This is a family friendly position, with a flexible schedule, and a 10-20-hour work week. We offer competitive pay and paid holidays. A pre-employment background check and credit report will be required.
Job Responsibilities:
Process Payroll in Intuit Online Payroll
Bi-weekly, Monthly, Quarterly & Annual Tax Reporting & Payments
Record the Day to Day Financial Transactions
Bank, Credit Card & Loan Reconciliations
Accounts Payable
Monthly Cash Flow Analysis
Accounts Receivable Oversight
Fleet Oversight
Maintain Businesses Licenses
Administer all Company Insurance Plans
Oversee 401k Retirement Plan
Onboard New Hires / New Hire Paperwork
Maintain Employee Files
Track Employee PTO
Year-end W-2s, 1099s & Reporting
Education & Experience:
A Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field (Required)
A minimum of 5years of Accounting experience(Required)
Advanced QuickBooks Online Proficiency (Required)
CPA Preferred
