SEEKING CAPTAINS AND MATES AS WELL AS RENTAL SUPPORT STAFF

USCG CAPTAINS and MATES

Company located in Southport is now hiring part time and full time Captains and mates.

We provide tours daily in a fast paced, fun and exciting atmosphere.

-Captains need to have a valid merchant mariner credential (Master 25ton minimum), and current CPR/First Aid.

-Mates need no license or certifications

The candidate should be a self-starter with an outgoing and energetic personality.

The individual must be drug free, Joining our drug testing consortium is required for Captains and Mates.

Excellent communication and customer service skills are a MUST!

Part time and full time positions available.

Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Salary is based on experience and performance.

Rental Duties Include:

Arrive early to stage and prepare boats for tours and rentals.

Greet and orient guests.

Go over waivers and accept payments.

Prepare guests for boating (safety briefing and chart orientation)

Help guests on and off the water.

Clean Boats and prepare them for the next group.

Ability to work independently, be self motivated, eager to talk with guests, and make them feel welcome and comfortable.

Details:

Some flexibility in scheduling and hours 20-40 hours weekly available

Expect to work most weekends and Holidays.

Pay rate dependent on experience, hourly + some tips

Some knowledge and experience with Boating expected, but training provided for the right candidate.
