Intracoastal Iron & Metalwork is looking for a full time draftsman to work in house, part time may work if desired. Position would primarily include designing and detailing high end complex stair and railing systems along with some structural shop and miscellaneous fabrication drawings. Once drawings are approved you would also be responsible for material ordering, assisting the shop in questions about the projects at hand, supplying needed details for fabrication. Other Duties to Include:
- Meeting with customers
- Be able to read blueprints and understand how things such as stairs and railings are built, experience with metal work or architectural drafting needed.
- Must be proficient in autocad
- Assist with estimating, Quickbooks and estimating experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license and a can-do attitude. Self-starter who takes initiative to get things done
- Material inventory and ordering
- Various office tasks and scheduling
