Essential Duties:
Plan and execute team practices.
Attend all practices and swim meets.
Coordinate and communicate practice and meet schedules on a consistent and regular basis.
Prepare and distribute heat sheets in advance of each swim meet.
Ability to make extra revenue from lessons.
Effectively communicate with parents, coaches, and Club management and Pool Committee.
Field parent questions and coordinate swim team banquet and other outings.
Other duties as required.
Requirements:
Must be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible, outgoing attitude and passion for teaching swimming.
Must LOVE working with kids and be a role model for swimmers.
Swim team coaching experience required.
Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Safety Training required.
Understanding of swim codes, laws and safety regulations and emergency procedures.
Must present a professional image and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to teach proper stroke technique.
