This position is looking for an individual to performwork involving multiple skills including, but not limited to, plumbing work in new construction, repair of plumbing in water/wastewater pump stations, treatment plants and aquatic facilities, natural gas piping as fuel supplies to standby generators, as well as installing new piping on existing equipment.What you’ll do:

Service, repair and maintain piping on Commercial and Municipal wastewater/water pump stations and treatment facility equipment, aquatic facilities, and standby generators.

Assist in house mechanics and electricians with repairs to Commercial and Municipal to water/wastewater pumping equipment, aquatic facilities and standby generators.

Be knowledgeable of proper use and care for equipment and supplies; Maintain equipment and supplies and keep in good working order

Be an active participant in the installation and construction of new equipment and pump stations

Perform maintenance, repair and new installation of PVC, and ductile iron piping and valves.

Provide customer service in a professional and courteous manner.

Prepared for on call service work as we are a 24/7 emergency contractor.

Administers and delegates to the driving safety protocols and participates in the defensive driving training; maintains recordkeeping associated with the use of a company vehicle and other company driving policies

Is knowledgeable of, and works to be in compliance with, the policies and procedures of the company

Complete weekly technical safety meetings

QualificationsWhat you will bring:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Master Plumbing license in the state of Massachusetts (ability to get license reciprocity to other New England States preferred).

5 years of plumbing experience (wastewater/water/aquatics facilities experience preferred).

Valid Drivers’ License

Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a team environment and get along with others

Proven ability to communicate effectively, with strong writing, verbal and mechanical skills

Ability to organize, manage, and coordinate multiple assignments

The ability to meet deadlines, to work cooperatively with others and when necessary, work overtime and weekends

Must have strong computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other database software

Must be able to communicate through email & complete reports in a timely and complete manner

Self-motivated and the ability to work independently

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and must be able to climb a ladder, minimum of 15 feet

Climbing: Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized. This factor is important if the amount and kind of climbing required exceeds that required for ordinary locomotion.

Balancing: Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.
