JOB BRIEF:
We are looking for a professional line cook to prepare food to chef's specifications and to set up stations for menu. Ability to prep food, use a fryer, and grill are necessary. Must have a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, portioning meat, preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow chef's instructions
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in a high quality and timely fashion
- Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
