Job Description
Cambridge Village of Wilmington is an Optimal Living® Retirement Community looking for an experienced Maintenance Assistant / Painter with experience with apartment turns and technical skills to join our team! This is a Part Time position with potential to turn into a Full Time position. 20-30 hours/week available. PAID TIME OFF is available for part time and full time employees

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - main responsibility will be painting and turning apartments
Apartment turns to include painting and maintenance repairs upon move outs
Follow paint schedule around community
Respond to resident work order requests in a timely and efficient manner
Monitors fire system, sprinkler system, and door entry system operation and maintenance
Certified Pool Operator is a plus
Assists with the maintenance and beautification of the community including grounds and trash
Makes prompt effort to resolve all resident and staff concerns or grievances related to facilities and conditions under their direction.
Assists staff members in the operation of emergency systems.
Safeguards the privacy of residents.
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
High School graduate or equivalent
Must have a valid NC drivers license
