We are a fast growing IT Support Company in Wilmington NC looking to add our next Technician. You will need to be a team player, have great communication skills and have the ability to work in multiple environments on many different hardware and software platforms. You will work directly with our client's staff and management. You must be willing to work hours other than the standard weekday 8-5. You'll also be required to join an on-call rotation for after-hours support. You must be able to pass a drug and background check.
As a new member of our team, you will need to have support experience of the following:
⢠Windows Server 2003/2008/R2/2012
⢠Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
⢠Windows XP/7/8/10
⢠Routers, Networks, TCP/ip, routing protocols.
⢠Printers and Copiers
⢠PC and Server hardware.
⢠Troubleshooting skills for unknown products.
⢠Malware removal and fundamental understanding of rootkit technology
⢠The ability to efficiently identify problems, research and implement solutions on your own.
Additional Skills/Requirements:
⢠Ensures customer satisfaction
⢠Provides timely verbal and written communications with coworkers, clients & vendors
⢠Ensures all internal documentation is accurate and timely
⢠Dependable
⢠Proactive
Not required, but a huge plus:
⢠Datacenter operations
⢠Cloud Services such as O365, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.
⢠VMWare experience
⢠Windows Clustering, High-Availability, Virtual Desktop Servers
⢠Hyper-V, XEN, or other Virtualization Understanding
⢠Knowledge of Network Engineering and infrastructure design.
Travel Requirements:
95% of all travel is within 50 miles of Wilmington, NC. From time to time, there may be travel requirements beyond.
Required:
At least 2 years of direct helpdesk support experience or similar. If you do not have at least 2 years of direct experience, please do not apply. Please reply with resume AND cover letter.
Must reside within or be willing to relocate (at your expense) within 60 miles of Wilmington NC
Must be authorized to work in the US and have a Valid Driver's License
Compensation:
This will be a full time positions. Hiring range $18 to $23 per hr DOE
