DescriptionStarting pay: $16.50/hr plus $0.25/hr shift differentialWork schedule: 2nd shift (2pm - 10:30pm)Essential Duties:

Responsible for counting, ordering, receiving, and storing raw materials, including liquid sugar (HFCS), concentrates and other additives used in the manufacturing process.

Control finished product blending equipment in order to produce a quality product that insures fitness for use and maximize the case yield for each batch of syrup.

Assist with flavor changeovers as needed.

Maintain appropriate documentation and related reports.

Keep Blending/Sugar rooms clean.

Ensure all Safety Standards (Company or Regulatory) are met at all times.

Ensure all Company Good Manufacturing Standards are met at all times.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Education and/or Experience:

High School diploma or GED is preferred.

A minimum of one (1) year related experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills, team player and an attitude of ownership are a must.

Able to read, write and speak English.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to use hands, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The associate frequently is required to stand and walk. The associate is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move more than 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the associate regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes/odors or airborne particles, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
