Hotel in Winston Salem is looking for a Part Time (16-30 hours per week) Guest Service Agent for 1st Shift (7am to 3pm), 2nd Shift (3pm to 11pm). Please Reply with your resume and Contact Details
GENERAL PURPOSE
Responds in a professional and courteous manner to arriving, departing and in-house guests by providing accurate and timely information and services. Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information, and guest concerns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITY
Greets arriving guests and check-in using proper procedures on a daily basis using both manual and computerized methods.
Ensure guests receive prompt, professional attention and personal recognition. Respond appropriately to guest complaints
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Basic mathematical skills to calculate room tax rate
Ability to stand, walk, and continuously perform behind the front desk. Ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers, and patrons.
Command of the English language both written and verbal.
Professional appearance needed.
