ABOUT US:
New Atlantic is an employee-owned General Contractor founded by a team of engineers and managers who worked together for many years. Established in 2002, New Atlantic has enjoyed remarkable growth, but most importantly, we have built remarkable projects and lasting relationships. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2 years of experience constructing Commercial projects
A 4-year degree in Construction Management or Engineering
RESPONSIBILITIES:
⢠Assist the Project Management Staff
⢠Assist the Field Staff
⢠Expedite the delivery of material and supplies
⢠Assist in verifying stored materials
⢠Compile and distribute meeting minutes
⢠Maintain and improve client relations
⢠Assist Superintendent and PM in Safety and Quality Control
⢠Maintain accurate contract documents, including specifications, drawings, addenda and changes to the work
⢠Maintain all project management logs (RFIâs, Submittals, CORâs, Allowances etc.)
⢠Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance
⢠Manage submittal process
⢠Expedite flow of information between Owner, Architect, and Contractor
⢠Assist in monitoring and updating schedules
⢠Assist in preparing monthly draw request by confirming approved work and stored materials
⢠Assist in coordinating punch list procedures with Owner/Architect
⢠Notify all subcontractors and/or material suppliers of any deficiencies under the punch list which are their responsibility
⢠Assist Senior Management and Superintendent in verifying completion of punch list items
