Are you ready to join our team?Role OverviewThis position is for an Experienced Commodity / Account Management & Strategic Sourcing professional, overseeing supplier selection and contract negotiation. Responsible for partnering with internal clients and stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and improve sourcing strategy.Primary Responsibilities:Executes commodity / account management and strategic sourcing strategy.Maintains various systems that are supported by the Supply Chain function.Participates in projects with other IT departments and/or external vendors.Provides input into future software functionality, implementation methodology, and customization standards.Participates in routine and ad hoc meetings and communicates with departments across the business.Partners with internal clients and stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and improve sourcing strategy.Analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.Develops a strategic plan for a commodity or a strategic supplier.Manages Tableau reporting and data feeds.Developing reporting metrics and analytics to disseminate to commodity managers, business unit managers and executive reviews.Ensures supplier or commodity is performing to the designed UTC requirements from delivery, quality and cost perspective.Analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedulesQualificationsThis position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 7 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience.
