Job Responsibilities:
Assists customers with selection of frames and lens style. Takes measurements for orders, making necessary adjustments.
Performs glasses repair and adjustments.
Maintains thorough understanding of types of lenses, available brands, new available features, etc. in order to assist patients in making decisions.
Answers phone, notifies patients when glasses are in and ready to pick up
Receives payments and posts to system, including running credit cards for approval.
Maintains accurate and organized patient records.
Checks patients in and out.
Makes patient appointments.
Other related duties.
Skills/Qualifications:
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Good math skills
Ability to multi-task
Self motivated and quick learner
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Optical experience preferred but not necessary
Hours:
Monday - Thursday 8:30 - 5:00
Friday 8:30 - 1:00
