You must be outgoing, friendly, and a people person. Comfortable working with diverse populations and people of all ages. We are seeking two individuals to work with consumers who have disabilities. We are seeking individuals who are interested in human services, not direct care. Must have reliable transportatation and vehicle must be covered by insurance that meets NC state law, you must have an active driver's license.
These positions are part-time, training will occur 11:30am-4:30pm, Tuesday -Friday. You will be required to travel to the homes of consumers, trainings, community outreach sessions, and other meetings. There is some evening work and rarely weekends as well. You will be reimbursed for all travel and time. You must be computer literate! These positions require managing a caseload and documentation in a specialty database, you will receive complete training on the database.
Minimum requirement is a High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prefer AA in Human Services or equivalent experience.Â
Experience working with people who are disabled in a human services context a PLUS!
Former case management experience a PLUS!
