We are looking for a qualified Preconstruction/Business Development Manager to join an extraordinary project team. You will be involved in many facets of preconstruction with the ability to evolve our existing operations. As the Preconstruction/Business Development Manager, you will support the team on preconstruction duties and responsibilities by leading project or scopes of work from $1M to $50M in size.
Responsibilities
â¢Oversee preconstruction/estimating efforts and effectively lead project team and foster solutions
â¢Provide preconstruction services for projects ranging up to $50,000,000.00
â¢Develops proposals for services in response to invitations to bid and provides guidance to proposal team from inception to completion. Develops the pricing structure, as well as other contract terms and conditions
â¢Budget preparation and development of project schedules
â¢Lead the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), RFP and RFQ response processes
â¢Management of design build/assist projects including: estimating of design milestones, value engineering, constructability, schedule review, managing design/build subcontractors, maintaining and identifying long lead items
â¢Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities
â¢Demonstrate presentation and sales skills while assisting and serving on RFP/interview teams
â¢Provide ongoing progress updates on new business development activities and other key indicators to the RCS Construction management team
Qualifications
â¢Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
â¢5-15 Years of Preconstruction Experience in Commercial Construction Estimating Environment
â¢Proficient with Preconstruction Technologies such as Excel, Planswift or Timberline
â¢Proven ability to establish profitable relationships with decision makers at companies and organizations
