Yellowstone River Inn located in Glendive, Montana needs YOU! We are a small hotel/restaurant open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We have immediate openings for experienced managers, servers and line cooks. We are looking for people who are passionate about working in a great restaurant environment and interested in advancing with our company. Experience and a solid work ethic is a must! Other necessary skills include safe food handling practices, a positive attitude, excellent people skills, the desire to learn, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Kitchen Manager

The Kitchen Manager is responsible for all BOH operations and food production including an active role in menu planning and development and planning menus for special events. Food quality assurance, maintaining cleanliness standards and inventory control. Knowledge and experience with all stations in the kitchen to oversee prep work and ensure that all meals leaving the kitchen are consistent in presentation and quality. This includes BOH staff recruitment and management - ensuring all personnel are trained on and perform duties using proper safety and sanitation guidelines. KM is responsible for product purchasing, invoice processing and monthly BOH inventory. Additionally, it is their role to ensure proper pars, consistent product preparation, excellent product presentation and upholding the overall product standards. The KM in also responsible for ensuring the kitchen is properly cleaned and equipment serviced and maintained as necessary. Lastly, the KM is accountable for BOH financial performance including BOH labor, food costs, waste tracking and adequate product and supply purchasing. Five (5) years of consecutive employment working in a high-volume kitchen is a requirement. At least three (3) years of experience in a key leadership role overseeing a minimum of 20 employees.

Line/Prep Cooks

Our busy restaurant is looking for professional Line/Prep Cooks who can help prepare meals as per our standard recipes with an emphasis on plate presentation. The successful candidates will be responsible for creating meal portions, cooking meals and keeping a sanitized work area. This an excellent opportunity to progress your culinary career in a positive, rewarding environment. Previous experience required. References from previous employers required.

Restaurant/Hotel Floor Manager

Duties to include overseeing front of house and bar staff, expedite food, take restaurant and hotel reservations and ensure highest level of service and customer satisfaction through interaction with our guests and staff. Bookkeeping, hotel and banquet experience a plus.

Servers

Familiarity with high volume full service restaurants preferred. Must be available for weekends and evenings, although schedules will vary. Open availability is a huge plus. Must be dependable, hard-working, efficient, able to provide excellent customer service daily and have a great way with people - both staff and guests alike!
