Position: Environmental Monitoring Technician (LDAR)
Position Location: Bismarck, ND
Job description: Responsibilities include air quality monitoring associated with Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) monitoring programs, as well as other regulatory activities in a petroleum, gas processing, ethanol, or chemical facility setting. A basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail is preferred. Applicants must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and have an ability to learn various database programs. Applicants must have a clean driving record, be available for travel, and have a commitment to safe operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Acceptable written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team members
Acceptable employment history with a demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
Initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on completing project deliverables on schedule
Dependable, with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
Acceptable driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail and accuracy, as well as a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables
Direct industry employment history within an industrial setting, or a related field
