Responsibilities
Inspect equipment for proper performance, and to detect faults and malfunctions
Diagnose faults or malfunctions and determine the extent of repair required
Repair or replace defective parts, components or systems
Test equipment for proper performance
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
Service attachments and working tools
Perform repair work on heavy trucks, including:
- Provide technical service to vehicles
- Perform general and detailed repair on all trucks, engines and equipment.
- Overhaul diesel engines.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees and equipment operators
Manage shop inventory and orders
Responsible for keeping shop clean and organized.
