Mahube-Otwa Community Action Partnership, Inc. Head Start Program has an opening for a Teacher Assistant position. This position is benefited, full-time, seasonal (nine months with summer lay-off).
TITLES: Head Start Teacher Assistant Infant Center
DUTY STATION: Mahube-Otwa ALC Infant Room, Park Rapids, MN
QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED: CDA Credential or a State Awarded Early Childhood Certificate, have been trained or have equivalent coursework in early childhood development with a focus on infant and toddler development. A Minnesota Driver's License. PREFERRED: A Bachelors or Associates degree in Early Childhood or related field.
BASIC FUNCTION: This position provides and exists to assist the center teacher in the delivery of required services to Head Start children and families through classroom activities and home visits. The person in this position adheres to the Agency Standards of Conduct and Agency Values of client focused, community minded and resourceful. Must have the ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality of client information and work materials.
