Mahube-Otwa Community Action Partnership, Inc. Head Start Program has openings for a Teacher Assistant/Bus Driver position. This position is benefited, full-time, seasonal (approximate two week summer lay-off).
TITLES: Head Start Teacher Assistant/Bus Driver MState Preschool Center
DUTY STATION: MState Preschool Center Detroit Lakes, MN
QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED: CDA Credential or a State Awarded Early Childhood Certificate, are enrolled in a program that will lead to an Associate or Baccalaureate Degree in Early Childhood Education, or are enrolled in a CDA Credential program to be completed within two years of the time of hire. A Minnesota Driver's License. PREFERRED: A Bachelors or Associates degree in Early Childhood or related field.
BASIC FUNCTION: This position provides and exists to assist the center teacher in the delivery of required services to Head Start children and families through classroom activities and home visits. The person in this position adheres to the Agency Standards of Conduct and Agency Values of client focused, community minded and resourceful. Must have the ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality of client information and work materials.
