OT ENGINEER (NETWORK/CONTROLS ENGINEER)

Cascade Integration & Development Inc. is an Oregon systems integration firm that has a growing presence in Oregon and California. We are looking to hire a unique individual that can serve our existing customers across a variety of industries in Oregon and the Bay Area of California. The position will require someone who has a diversity of skills, great customer service mentality, and the ambition to maintain the stellar reputation that CID has in our industry.
Position Summary:
Our OT Engineer role encompasses the lead technical advisor responsibilities to develop and deploy robust network, PLC and HMI solutions. The roll will interact directly with key contacts for the deployment and roll out of network infrastructure and security related efforts.
Job Responsibilities:
Potential candidates should have:
Networking
o Assessing, Designing and Deploying infrastructure preferably in industrial environments.
o Experience in deploying switches, routers, firewalls, cellular modems, etc.) preferably in an Industrial Environment
o Solid understanding of various Ethernet protocols preferably including Ethernet/IP (Industrial Protocol), Profibus and Modbus
o Ability to configure firewalls from various vendors including, FortiGate, pfSense, Cisco ASA platforms.
o Preferably familiarity with manufacturing and enterprise network convergence, protocols and application effects on system performance.
Server Infrastructure
o Familiarity implementing virtual environments using VMWare products
Creating of detailed documentation including customer requirements, system specification, issues and remedies.
Preferred Experience with:
o Multi-industry technical support that includes troubleshooting of:
Control loop circuitry
Instrumentation
PLC’s (primarily Allen-Bradley)
Motor Control Circuits including VFD’s
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Engineering Degree -BS/MS, or equivalent vocational technical training.
Excellent interpersonal skills with coworkers and customers.
Ability to clearly communicate with customers to diagnose control system issues.
Ability to adhere and contribute to in house standards.
Ability to use MS Office products with no training.
5+ years of hands-on experience configuring network infrastructure equipment including virtual server environments.
Preferred Requirements
Minimum of 5+ years in Networking related experience
Recognized Network Certification (CCNA Industrial, CCNA / CCNP / CCIE Routing and Switching/Wireless, VCA, VCP, Cisco INS, GICSP)
RSLogix 5, 500, 5000, Studio 5000 Exposure

PE Licensure in the State of California
Electrical Design
PLC Programming Experience with AB SLC and AB CLX
HMI Development Experience
AutoCad (2d electrical prints)
