Experience Requirements
10+ years of experience in banking domain, payments, project management, business architecture and product implementation.

Experience in performing process analysis, by evaluating the key differences between the current and proposed system and identifying the key requirements for system/product re-engineering.

Job specific Experience

  • Possess understanding in banking products, operations or project management experience implementing payment products, solutions and / or redesigning processes, such as SWIFT (MT103 & MT202, MT900), WIRE Payments, Fedwire, EFT, RTR, Payment Capabilities, ISO20022 Standards, PACS/PAIN/Camt messages, digital innovation, API’s, and Agile Scrum Methodologies.
  • Highly desirable skills in Designing, operating or implementing core payment banking platforms such as Wires, EFT, payment messaging, SWIFT, FED, ISO20022 experience in designing, operating, or implementing vendor payment platforms such as Modus BOX / PortX, FIS eWires, PSH, (Payment Service HUB), Global Pay Plus (Fundtech/D+H), Dovetail, Equens (SEPA) or other payment system/hub vendors
  • Experience in payments re-platforming and replacing old legacy payment systems and operations, to help financial institutions adapt to changes as per industry standard to lower operational cost.

Job Description

  • Technical minded business analyst with payment system experience required to work on International Wires and Payment Modernization projects undertaken by TechM for leading Banks.
  • Renewing Payments capabilities by development of a new strategy, operating model design and architecture and helping banks in executing the strategy.
  • Experience in defining system requirements for API’s, business data models, and functions related to payment solutions are essential skills. Expertise in payments: International Remittance, Instant and Real-Time Rail, ISO (ISO20022) data-enriched payment flows for various payments rails, unlocking future business opportunities, and moving beyond traditional banking channels.
  • Skilled in facilitating BA responsibilities like, Business Process Mapping, SWIM Lane, Use Cases & Scenarios, Business Rules & Data Catalog, User Stories, Story/Data Mapping and Requirements traceability.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, UI UX, Infrastructure and Application Development
  • Support life cycle starting from gathering high level requirements, Interface mappings and designs, Product demo, pre deployment studies, product customization documentation, functional specification, conducting training, SIT, UAT, Go live and Production support.
  • Managing timely delivery of documentation packages adhering to a very tight project schedule. The documentation comprises data base mapping with ISO20022 messages, business rules, swim lane diagram, process flows documents.
  • Review sessions with vendors/Bank for clarification and modification of their test scenarios
  • Establish a robust defect management process to help prioritize critical issues.
  • Defect triage with minimum turnaround time with onsite solutions/Workarounds wherever needed
  • Establish the Data Migration mechanism between Bank's legacy systems to vendor Software systems for enabling a smooth transition of the payments
  • Perform toll gate check to ensure all standards are met before Production implementation.
  • Monitored application development progress by conducting regular meetings with development team leads and ensured timely completion by providing solutions to issues requiring business input.
  • Facilitating system integration testing with multiple up-streams and down-streams system.
  • Ability to Analyze payments file formats like 1464, 80, Pain001, Pain008, MT101, MT103, MT104, EDI820, NACHA, etc.
  • Analyzing and defining a modern payment system to achieve transaction transparency, fast payment options, easier payments, and data rich payments, cross border convince to meet the immediate & future needs for payments to industry/regulatory modernization, innovation & disruption.
  • Creating business architecture maturity models based on business objectives demonstrating how products, operations and systems interoperate within bank for future state.
