The HSE Sr. Project Manager will drive project management of critical initiatives and workstreams that manage risk and maintain compliance across the segment.This will be accomplished by assisting the HSE Director, Global Programs & Assurance – PJM in managing the HSE Project Management Office (PMO) portfolio by leading specific projects in the portfolio and driving periodic rationalization of the portfolio of initiatives/workstreams.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESUsing PMBOK (Project Management Book of Knowledge), develops, provides leadership, coordinates and executes key project management initiatives as tied to our HSE strategy & annual business plan.Leads projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifies schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation.Builds and develops the project team, assigning resources to streamline project efficiency to ensure maximum performance, providing purpose, direction, and motivation.Ensures projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional areas.Manages key initiatives as formal workstreams, including appropriate inter-organizational and cross line of business vetting, stakeholdering and development of formal plans to drive change (includes stakeholder decks, training, communications, etc.).Establishes and maintains relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing periodic and close contact on project status, changes and trending.Reports project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans.Facilitates change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.Coordinates the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to end clients.Working knowledge of various Change Management models (e.g., Kotter, Bridges Transitions, ADKAR) a strong plus.Other duties may be assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNo formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng) from College of University of study. 5+ years leading and managing programs and projects. 5+ years managing people in a multi-site and highly matrixed environment.Ability to effectively manage a large, diverse team of technical managerial/supervisory, professional, and support staff.Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.Experience coaching and educating project teams to strengthen team members’ capabilities and skill sets.Proven success working with all levels of management, including strong stakeholdering, vetting and influencing skills.Demonstrated experience delivering results in a highly matrixed, sometimes ambiguous environment.Ability to establish and build strong relationships across a diverse network.Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions.Demonstrated ability to successfully direct, coordinate, and strategically integrate multiple developmental, enhancement, and/or modification projects on a global level.Knowledge and understanding of CBRE GWS HSE organization structures, workflows, and operating procedures.Experience with mergers & acquisitions is a highly desirable.Previous success in producing high level & detailed deliverables, management and executing of software platforms is a plusKnowledge of current developments and trends in HSE best practices and related technology a plus.CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSESCertification in project management (PMP. PRINCE II or equivalent) preferred.COMMUNICATION SKILLSAbility to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Responsible for setting project, department and/or division deadlines.
