Assist system accounting activities through document retrieval and report maintenance. Responsible for invoice processing to maintain vendor relationships with excellent customer service. Work in a shared services accounts payable department, responsible for processing payables for multiple locations. Responsible for preliminary end of month reports, various transactions, and training of new employees. Assist in preparing year end documentation. Must have general knowledge of business procedures and understand basics of bookkeeping and accounting.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESImplements methods for improving and establishing controls for critical processes.;Resolves common and complex A-P errors or problems.;Advises others to carry out responsibilities based on understanding of key organizational functions.;Identifies, obtains, and organizes relevant data and ideas.;Analyzes and synthesizes information and devises alternative resolution strategies.;Describes the basic steps and tools for maintaining accounts payable information.;Explains current accounting practices and closing cycle procedures and requirements.;DEPARTMENT DETAILSThe hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.QUALIFICATIONSPost secondary education or equivalent training in a health care or business related field is required; Associates degree preferred. Must have at least three years of applicable experience, with previous experience in accounts payable, accounting, business or healthcare administration. Previous leadership experience preferred. Advanced computer skills and knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
