The Partner Dev Manager, Healthcare – Business Application (PDM-R) is an important contributor to Microsoft's partner engagement strategy as part of the One Commercial Partner Organization (OCP). Microsoft aspires to offer the most comprehensive, inclusive, and profitable partner network in the industry. OCP leads this effort in recruiting new partners, building solutions on the business applications (Dynamics) Platform, creating vibrant routes to market, and selling with impact to our joint customers.The successful Partner Dev Manager will develop deep internal and external relationships to drive partner success. The PDM is a strong influencer and orchestrator to align Microsoft & partner resources for business impact. The importance of the role evidences Microsoft’s deep commitment to the partner ecosystem to build a mutually beneficial business relationship. The outcome will be to drive long-term revenue, cloud consumption and digital transformation through a set of practices and solutions leading to workload and/or industry-based Co-Sell.ResponsibilitiesThe Partner Dev Manager – Recruit will work with strategic partners to join Microsoft Cloud Platform and build solutions that will provide a unique expertise and solve customers’ business challenges.Key responsibilities include:Recruitment Strategy and Planning - Develop Partner Recruit Strategy and Compete Plan: research, qualify and analyze potential new partners, articulating market insights about competitors. Create Recruit strategic partners target list based on Recruit Council, Capacity Plan, Industry and Segment priorities. Target list of highest value solution for the territory.Build a trusted advisory relationship with partners - Builds expansive network with Business and Technical managers: sharing ideas, perspectives, building trusted advisory reputation within partner team. Create Executive Sponsorship and Relationships to build trust and drive for commitments.Build New Solution – Secure partner commitment to build net-new solutions on Microsoft cloud platform.Evangelize profitability of MS relationship, MS value proposition, quantify market opportunity and align expectations on engagement, deliverables, SLA, programs and services. Coordinate engagement of teams required to enable/skill up partner and manage solution development. Build New Solution – Guides partners to build a solutions portfolio aligned with market opportunities and defines roadmap to evolve to multi-cloud (Business Applications, Azure and Modern Workplace). Build & Develop solutions aligned to a partner plan with evaluated ROI ensuring that new offers are taken to market in ways that show differentiation and are positioned for success leveraging Business Applications.Evangelize profitability of MS relationship, MS value proposition, quantify market opportunity and align expectations on engagement, deliverables, SLA, programs and services. Coordinate engagement of teams required to enable/skill up partner and manage solution development.Leverage and request Microsoft Programs Services to:

Support partner on launching new solution on Modern Marketplace and assure solution is discoverable

Create/execute GTM plan for new solution

Coordinate with Channel Managers for first customer opportunities

Supervise partner engagement with Microsoft Programs ensure SLA and Partner satisfaction and deliverablesPartner Experience – Execute timely and appropriate transfer of partner to partner management teams for long-term partnership. Or transfer partner to programmatic assistance when no longer appropriate for PDM-R engagement.Partner Experience – Help partners transform and grow their business in the cloud by developing comprehensive Partner Business Plans for a portfolio of partners to identify short and long-term strategic goals and tactical execution. Builds strong relationships with Microsoft and partner resources to design new Cloud Business solutions on Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, PowerBI and Flow), Dynamics 365 vertical solutions and/or connectors to Dynamics 365. Ensure clear governance with partner executives and establish joint priorities to identify transformation opportunities. Identify an effective path to market with solutions and Go-To-Market (GTM) activities.Drive performance management of partners through monthly/quarterly reviews to review overall business performance across the organization and to measure against partners’ transformation goals and business plan. Drive continuous portfolio optimization of partners’ performance as measured by revenue, pipeline, customer adds, usage and partner impact.QualificationsExperiences Required: Education, Key Experiences, Skills and Knowledge:

5+ years of experience in core sales experience, partner channel development, business development, alliance management in the technology industry

Healthcare and Life Sciences/Education Experience is ideal.

Executive presence and ability to influence business leaders through business value propositions

Experience with technology platforms and developing new solutions

Strong experience of managing virtual teams across functions and geographies:

Inclusive and collaborative – driving teamwork and cross-team alignment

Strong partner relationship management and solution development skills

Strong communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort

Challenger mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources, conflict resolution, and follow through

Bachelor's degree desired (Sales, Marketing, Business Operations) MBA preferred
