DescriptionThe Technology Solutions Lead leads initiatives to analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts supporting multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret, and produce recommendations and plans based on company and external data analysis. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Selects develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, works under minimal supervision; uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors, and determines the best course of action.ResponsibilitiesThis Technology Solutions Lead is a new role within the Modernization Program team. The Technology Solutions Lead will help bring alignment at the Enterprise level on the Technology investments necessary to support Humana's Strategy. The individual will develop an intimate knowledge of Humana's evolving business needs, technology trends and partner with Enterprise Technology peers to drive technology modernization. Additionally, this position will partner closely with the key stakeholders and Executives from Business, IT, Finance, and Corporate Strategy to create and manage the Modernization program investment portfolio and ensure that prioritized investments drive the most significant amount of value to Humana.The qualified candidate should have a strong background in Information Technology with hands-on experience leading large Portfolio Investment planning, have solid Data Management and Data Analysis expertise. Also, the qualified candidate should be a strategic thinker, strong collaborator, act as a change agent, and a results-driven leader. This leader needs to have demonstrated experience driving large-scale transformative initiatives by developing business cases, influencing decision-makers, aligning diverse stakeholders, and effectively using communication and change management strategies. The individual will understand the emerging Healthcare and Technology landscape and partner with Enterprise Architecture to identify opportunities where Humana can leverage certain technologies to further its Modernization agenda.Responsibilities:Build and maintain relationships with critical cross-functional senior IT and Business leadership to understand existing IT and Business landscapes, long-term investment needs, risks, dependencies, and emerging technology trends.

In partnership with IT Leaders, IT Finance and Corporate Strategy implement investment and strategy analysis and planning tools to establish an effective and perpetual long-term, data-driven strategic investment process.

Establish and maintain communication cadences to conduct executive-level financial analysis and review sessions to review impacts and make quarterly adjustments to long-term strategic roadmaps.

Responsible for the development, refresh, and governance of the long-term (3-5 year) Technology investment initiatives/roadmaps.

Effectively communicate with key senior Executives and stakeholders outside of direct control of this role to deliver optimal solutions in line with the best interests and expectations of the Modernization program.

Responsible for conducting executive-level briefings, presentations, and solution recommendations to fuel Modernization efforts.

Provide investment planning governance through Influence of others at multiple organizational levels; lead and work in a team environment; lead collaborative efforts with IT Leaders, IT Finance, Corporate Strategy, and Portfolio Managers.

Remain current on emerging technology trends, products, evolving threat landscape, and contemporary capabilities.

Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field.

8-10+ years experiencing working in Information Technology.

8+ years leading business impacting cross-functional IT projects, teams, programs or directing allocation of resources.

5+ years of experience driving Technology Strategy or managing large IT Strategic Initiative Portfolio(s) of $100M-500M+.

Demonstrated experience planning large cross-functional, multi-year investment initiatives and producing the necessary artifacts to support and justify decisions. (e.g., Business Plans, Investment/Financial analysis, Key Milestone Roadmaps etc.)

Experience driving enterprise-level business transformations initiatives that require establishing effective working relationships to change organizational culture.

Broad technology knowledge including understanding of Cloud Technology, IT Infrastructure, and Application Lifecycle Management.

Strong leadership skills with a track record of execution and delivery in strategic, high visibility areas.

Demonstrated change management skill successfully promoting change by helping others to change and remove barriers.

Flexible and adaptable dealing with ambiguous situations.

Negotiation skills with the ability to obtain consensus with internal key stakeholders and external regulators and vendors.

Consulting skills to assimilate business knowledge and knowledge of internal customer's unique needs/situation, providing options and tools to help make informed decisions.

Research and Analytical skills to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.

Observational skills to analyze and validate financial data and obtained supporting data via other techniques and expose new areas for elicitation.

A general understanding of contemporary requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, verification, and management practices and the ability to apply them in practice, prefer experience with several Software Development Life Cycles in a team environment.

Challenger skillset to teach, tailor and take control of opportunity definition & initiation with business partners

Strategic communication skills to be able to simplify the complex with proven experience presenting to top level executives.

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences and simplifying ways to work using Agile methods.

Additional InformationHumana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters.
