Health Advocate, the nation's leading provider of health and wellness solutions, and a subsidiary of West Corporation, is seeking professional, enthusiastic Health Educators for our onsite screening events. The position is contractor per diem and flexible on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities
⢠Effectively communicate screening results and their implications for health including cholesterol, blood pressure, glucose and body fat/BMI measurements. Provide education to help make healthy lifestyle changes in areas that may need improvement including nutrition and exercise.
⢠Will also assist in taking members height/weight and body composition testing.
Qualifications
⢠Knowledge to accurately communicate and review screening results
⢠Experience in the health education or medical fields (2+ years preferred)
⢠Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
⢠Ability to function as part of a wellness team
Education
⢠A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field (health education, public health, nutrition, exercise science) or Registered Nurse.
