SUMMARY:

The Marketing Manager develops the marketing strategy to align with company objectives and budget, both short and long-term. Target existing and new markets by performing the following duties personally or with the assistance of marketing partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops and manages advertising and marketing budgets.

• Develops, implements and/or directs strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for Sales, Parts, and Service.

• Oversees advertising and promotional activities through all mediums.

• Oversees customer events, trade shows, trips, and special promotions.

• Directs Public Relations efforts for all company events, product or service launches, branch openings, and the like by working with various Chambers, newspapers, and industry related publications.

• Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.

• Monitors competition.

• Establishes and maintains relationships with management group and industry partners.

• Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image/branding through all forms of communication.

• Manage co-op advertising programs with vendors and determine best use of dollars.

• Assist in the development of CRM-based marketing programs, and maintain consistent customer contact information.

• Keep up to date on Social Media platforms, determine what the company should participate in, and manage the various platforms.

• Participate in weekly Level 10 meeting (TRACTION) to share marketing activity and maintain a proactive vs. reactive approach to our marketing strategy.

• Manages and directs outside marketing partners.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or like field

• 7-10 years marketing experience preferred

• Exceptional communicator and strategic thinking skills

• Strong understanding of branding

• Great leadership skills and positive, enthusiastic team player

• Must be detail orientated and able to handle multiple projects effectively

• Highly creative, highly motivated, and self-starting individual

• Strong writing skills (technical and creative)

• Knowledge of graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite) including Illustrator, InDesign, and

Photoshop

• Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues

• Ability to manage and update website content

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be willing to travel to tall branches ,including Canadian branches, and to customer events.

• Must possess the understanding of process flows within an organization.

• Must be able to communicate with management the tasks at hand, as well as the tasks to be completed to gain feedback necessary to complete the tasks.
