We're hiring for a skilled maintenance technician for a beautiful apartment community in Fargo. You would be responsible for completing residents' work orders as well as performing any preventative maintenance needed on both interior and exterior of the properties. Primary responsibilities will be for light plumbing, light electrical, troubleshooting telephone lines and cables, flooring, framing, and painting.
Position will include minimal grounds work as most is contracted out. May need to help with snow shoveling, etc. Must have excellent customer service skills when interacting with residents and coworkers. Must also be able to fix equipment as needed, including lawn mowers, snow blowers, appliances, and HVAC equipment. Also responsible for coordinating and overseeing any subcontractors.
On-call rotation for this position is for one week about every 5-6 weeks. Position is with a growing property management group that offers great benefits and opportunities for employees. Apply today!
Requirements
At least 2-3 years of experience in Maintenance or related field
Boiler's License or willingness to acquire
Must have own basic set of tools
Driver's License and reliable vehicle
Must live within 40 minutes or less to be able to commit to on-call
