Job Description:
HireQuest Direct in Fargo is hiring for a TIG Welder job with a client in the trucking industry in Detroit Lakes, MN! It is full-time and temp-to-hire. Pay is weekly at $17.00 - $24.00 per hour/DOE.
Responsibilities:
· Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
· Determines required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques
· Ignites torch and adjust valves, amperage or voltage to obtain desired flame or arc.
· Cuts workpiece, using powered saws, hand shears or chipping knife
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
· Minimum 12 months experience with TIG Welding or related experience
· Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
· Strong attention to detail-quality over quantity is a must
· Must be able to pass a weld test Ability to follow instructions
· Attendance-must have consistent work history and get to work on time every shift.
· May attend to other duties as assigned
