Command Center, Inc. in Grand Forks has an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to manage a growing team! The Lead Engineer position we're hiring for is with a full-scale manufacturer that designs, engineers, and fabricates custom products all under the same roof! Salary ranges between $86,000 and $116,000 per year.
Responsibilities:
⢠Coordinates and reviews the structural design of products
⢠Makes design recommendations to improve products
⢠Plans, directs, reviews the functions and staff within the engineering department
⢠Manages timelines for projects
⢠Collaborates with other departments to ensure projects are completed on time
Requirements:
⢠Bachelor's degree in structural, civil, or mechanical engineering
⢠Current Professional Engineer license
⢠4+ years of mechanical, structural, or civil engineering experience
⢠Complete a pre-employment drug screen and a pre-employment background check in accordance with local laws and regulations
⢠Availability and willingness to work overtime
⢠Ability to work well as a team player
⢠Preferably have experience with SolidWorks, Enercalc, and Excel
⢠Preferably have knowledge of manufacturing processes
⢠Preferably have previous management experience
