Sierra Chemicals, a privately-owned industrial cleaning organization in business for nearly 25 years, is seeking a frontline supervisory candidate to establish our new Williston, North Dakota location!
We offer a niche service to help maximize the efficiency of natural gas processing facilities and compressor sites.
In the Field Supervisor role, you will lead a team of 2-4 field technicians on-site while overseeing the cleaning process, communicating and building professional relationships with our clients, completing appropriate documentation for the job, committing to the safety of every employee, and ensuring the environment is protected. We are looking for you if you are a positive, reliable team player who is willing to be hands-on as necessary.

Minimum qualifications for our Field Supervisor:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
1-2 years of experience as a supervisor.
Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time from early spring to August.
Must be able to demonstrate good writing skills and working computer knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Must be able to demonstrate ability to be hands-on.
Must have experience applying policies.
Preferences:
Previous travel experience.
Equipment operation experience.
Class A CDL. (Will train the right person)
Responsibilities for our Field Supervisor:
Plan work and obtain needed materials for scheduled work including travel and lodging arrangements for crew.
Inspect work areas and review job packages (JSA, JHA, etc.) to determine type of work required and materials and equipment to be used.
Performs hands-on activities of workers supervised as necessary.
Operate equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, generators, etc.
Train workers in equipment operation.
Ensure vehicles and equipment are maintained including scheduling, completing maintenance, cleaning and equipping at all times.
Ensure accuracy of workers time sheets.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Directly supervise 2-4 employees on the Field Services Crews: training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; assessing performance; encouraging and counseling employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Incentives and Benefits:
Salary potential: $85,000 to $95,000.
Sierra provides technical training certificates for our three cleaning processes - Fin Fan, Hydro Lancing, and Clean-in-Place Circulation. You may increase your income by 20% within a year to 18 months of your start date when you complete these certifications.
Because Sierra believes every employee is important to our success, we offer quarterly bonuses based on personal work performance as well as annual profit-sharing based on the organizations performance. Combined, these may represent up to 7% of your base pay.
