Ideal Option is a well-established Addiction Medicine clinic with multiple locations nationwide. We focus on empowering individuals to live healthy lives through personalized medicine and education. We are looking for highly motivated practitioners to join our continued efforts to fight the opioid crisis across the nation.
-No specialty training required. We will train you.

Duties and Responsibilities
This is not an exhaustive list, but more of a general description.
provides medical patient care by interviewing and examining in treating of patients at Ideal Option
educates patients appropriately for outpatient addiction medicine
determines which referrals are necessary based on examination
determines level of urgency on follow-up, referral/consultation appointments
exercises final medical judgment in all issues of health care, including appropriate medication dosing, follow-up intervals, and response to abnormal drug screens
prescribes medications appropriately
orders studies, tests and ancillary services as clinically indicated
documents all services in patient medical record in a manner consistent with CPT coding and E&M documentation guidelines without receiving undue influence on the manner in which this occurs
consults with medical director and other professionals on staff as needed regarding patient care, assessment, and education issues
participates in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and other patient care programs established by Ideal Option Clinic
oversees medical assistants
assists in the resolution of complaints, requests and inquiries from patients
maintains confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations
