Volt Workforce Solutions is currently seeking an experienced welder for a full-time day shift position with an excellent company here in Fargo!Position Requirements:Follow all company quality and safety requirements.Qualified in welding disciplines required for the facility.Shows initiative to recognize areas of opportunity within current standard procedures.Dependable and prompt attendance.Able to work on semi routine assignments.Mastered all aspects of level 1 position.Maintains technical qualifications required for positions.Requires minimal help from supervisor on new tasks.Other duties as assigned.Skills and Qualities:Exhibit knowledge of material identification, equipment utilization and welding equipment set-up and maintenance.Accurately measures to specified tolerances.Performs flat and horizontal welding.Fits welds subassemblies into final position with flat and horizontal welds.Able to do basic layouts.Understand and follow oral and written directions.Ability to read a tape measure (imperial and metric)Basic oxy fuel and/or carbon arcing.Advanced knowledge of weld symbols.Able to final inspect welds.Ability to work with others.Ability to work safely and accurately.Education:High school diploma or GED required.1-2 years of welding experience.Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a welder to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
