Red River Supply Inc. is seeking a Human Resources/Safety Manager to perform full time work in Williston, North Dakota. This is a dynamic work environment with many different types of operations and personnel.

Red River is a family owned company that has been in business since 1978. We are a stable, long-term employer that is centered around logistics operations in the Bakken Oil Field. Red River owns and operates three different rail trans-loading facilities, two chemical blending facilities, three warehouses, a small truck transportation division and a maintenance shop.

Requirements:

HR and safety experience is required.

A thorough understanding of OSHA, FMCSA, FRA, and Dept. of Labor regulations is required.

Experience with ISNetWorld, PEC, Avetta, ComplyWorks etc. is preferred.

BA or higher in relevant disciplines is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform recruiting, interviewing, and on-boarding of new employees in coordination with the relevant division managers.

Maintain employee personnel files, including responding to employment verification, child support enforcement agencies and other record related inquiries.

Maintain employee medical files, including performing the duties of the Designated Employer Representative for the company Drug and Alcohol program.

Maintain employee training records to ensure compliance with Federal, State and local agency requirements, as well as customer requirements.

Maintain relevant records of insurance for contractors, suppliers, customers and others as necessary.

Maintain Red River's compliant status in numerous contractor vetting systems, including ISNetWorld, PEC, Avetta and others.

Maintain records required by OSHA, FMCSA, FRA, Dept. of Labor and other federal, state and local agencies.

Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies.

Conduct thorough investigations to determine the root cause of incidents and work with appropriate manager to determine the best course of action for recurrence prevention.

Develop and implement policies in furtherance of the company's operations and management.

Educate employees and managers on compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies.

Other duties and responsibilities as directed.

Overtime and occasional travel may be required.
